Tina Barath

I grew up an hour south of Chicago in a small town called Oswego. I moved out to Colorado after I graduated from high school and have been here ever since. After graduating from Metro State College in 2001 with a Bachelor of Arts Degree and Education Certification, I began my teaching career working with Denver Public Schools. In 2007, I completed my Master of Arts Degree with an emphasis in elementary education at the University of Colorado at Denver. Simultaneously, I completed my Montessori training with the Montessori Education Center of the Rockies in Boulder. As an educator, I strive to give every student the skills to be successful in life. I enjoy gardening, traveling, reading, hiking and laying in my hammock as much as possible. I began working for Compass Montessori in the 2008-09 school year and I am looking forward to many years of working with the Compass community.
