     The semester has been flying by with so much happening, and the end of the year is quickly approaching! Our third years are super excited for the upcoming third-grade trip, and all students are anticipating their new roles next year as they move up a grade! All students are working on being self-directed and challenging themselves with new and expanded works.

     Our most recent unit involved nutrition, food groups, and label reading. As a culminating project students divided into teams and discovered the sugar content of a variety of different foods, some of which we believed to be healthy choices before the experiment. They had a great time with this project as well as keeping their food journals for the month; be sure to ask them about what they learned!
