Volleyball

Volleyball is a middle school only sport offered through the Middle School Sports Program (MSSP) which Jeffco League provides to 6th-8th grade students. 

The grade divisions are for 8th graders and then 6/7th graders as separate teams. Depending on numbers and grades, we may be able to field 2 or more teams. Sometimes we pair mature 7th graders with the 8th graders and they together compete in the 8th grade division. If we have numbers for 6/7th graders, we will also have 1+ teams of 6/7th graders. If we do not have enough 6th graders to field a team, then the 6th graders will most likely just practice but not compete in games. We will know more once the registration period has begun. 

REGISTRATION:

• REGISTER HERE - Complete the registration form, upload your physical and pay the fee (see below for more details)

1. Please note you will need to upload your child’s current physical into this form to register. You must submit a CURRENT SPORTS PHYSICAL (the exam must be dated within a year of the start of the sport season in which your child wants to participate). You can submit the actual physical exam, a form from the doctor that says your child is healthy and can participate, or the Compass Physical Form. Please note, that if your child does not have a current physical and one is scheduled, you must let us know the scheduled date of the exam. Your child will not be allowed to participate without a valid physical. 
2. Pay the Athletics fee for Volleyball at the end of this form. 

• Submit your COMPASS ATHLETICS RELEASE form (this can be filled out once for your child per school year, as it is good for the entire school year for any sports in which they wish to participate)
• Registration deadline is October 11, 2024

WHEN: The season runs October 22nd - December 19th 2024 for all grade level divisions. Practice for our 8th grade teams will be Tues and Thurs from 3PM - 4PM at Tony Grampsas Gym. If we get other teams for the 6th/7th grade category, they will most likely be on Mondays and Wednesday. This will be decided at a later date.

WHERE: Practices will be at Tony Grampsas Gym, and games will be at various middle school locations throughout the district. 

STACK TEAM APP: Once you have registered and the season begins, you will be added to the Stack Team App to set up a password and account so you can begin receiving team related communications!
