Count Day is a day in which the State of Colorado records the number of students in attendance at each school to determine funding. One of the MOST important things you can do to support school funding is to make sure your student has a record of attendance on OCTOBER 3RD. Much of public education funding from the State of Colorado is based on student count, and the official enrollment figures are counted on this day. Read more on the CDE website.
