Attendance

Compass Montessori follows Jeffco's district policy on Attendance. Parents and Guardians should be familiar with that policy, and can read more about that in our Family Student Handbook, and on Jeffco's website.

 

Prearranged Absence: To report a Pre-arranged absence, please complete the 2023-24 Prearranged Absence Form 

 

Absent or Tardy: To report your child absent or tardy, please use the following Attendance & Tardy Forms. (The online form(s) below are the preferred method for reporting absences and tardies.)

Parents/guardians must report absences before 8:30 AM. 

If a student is tardy, parents/guardians must report the tardy to give the school more information about the tardy. 

 

Please include the following: When you call the attendance line, and leave a message for your child's tardy or absence, please include the following:

Parent's Name & Phone Number

If your child is sick, please include a detailed explanation of their symptoms. 

If you are getting them tested for COVID, please indicate that timeline and email your results to our Health Aides listed above. 

 

Please wait 24 hours before returning to school if your child is:

• Vomiting
• Has a fever without the use of medication. 

(Example: If they vomit on Tuesday night at 8PM, they cannot come back to school until Thursday.)
