Hot Lunch Overview
All Hot Lunch orders for the 2023-24 school year have been placed through May 2024. We are not taking any further hot lunch orders this year, and we don't take late orders.
The last day we serve Hot Lunch is May 10th. Students should pack a lunch the last two weeks of school.
HOW TO PAY FOR HOT LUNCH?
Compass does NOT use JeffCo's School Cafe. Compass Hot Lunch fees are paid when you submit the order form.
HOW MUCH IS HOT LUNCH?
Hot Lunches must be pre-ordered each month and cost $4.00 - $4.50 per lunch depending on grade level.
Please select the appropriate level and payment option for each lunch. Free and Reduced lunch families have filled out the Family Economic Data Survey (see below) AND have had it approved for Free/Reduced lunch pricing.
OR PACK A LUNCH, YOUR CHOICE!
If your child(ren) bring lunches from home, please ensure it is wholesome and healthy when possible. This will help them concentrate and learn, and have a positive, productive day.
Is Compass participating in the (free) Healthy School Meals for All Program through Jeffco?
We are not participating in the Healthy School Meals for All Program at Compass. We are aware of it, and have thoroughly considered it. We chose to continue our healthy lunch program after assessing this program’s food quality, as well as our ability to offer support to families in need more consistently. Additionally, the Healthy School Meals program wouldn't allow us to prepare and serve our own food, which is a big part of our academic experience here.

FAMILY ECONOMIC DATA SURVEY - DUE SEPT 30, 2023
Families needing financial support may complete the Family Economic Data Survey (below) to potentially qualify for Free or Reduced Lunches and/or trips. This application must be received in the main office by September 30th. Once submitted, you may be asked for further documentation prior to receiving a letter notifying you of your status.
This form must filled out every year and, once approved, only applies towards future fees. Please email your completed form to [email protected].
Once approved, you must complete the hot lunch monthly so food is ready for your child.
