What is the most inspiring thing about working at Compass, with students and/or in Montessori?

I love the community here at Compass!  Everyone is helpful and the building is full of busy, learning bodies!

What is your favorite lesson in Montessori?

Stamp Game. You can teach all operations using it, and it is a great material for young learners transitioning from concrete to abstract thinking.

How were you introduced to the world of Montessori? 

I worked a few summers at a private Montessori school in Golden when I was going through school.  After teaching a few years in a traditional neighborhood school, I made the move to Montessori, and never left!

Fun fact - If we held a staff talent show, I'd wow everyone with my talent doing.....fill in the blank!
