Conversation Starters

Things to Ask Your Compass High School Student
The Guides have put together this resource so that parents can better start conversations around academics with their students. We find that traditional, open-ended questions like "How was your day?" or "Did you go to all your classes today?" don't often accurately reflect the daily experiences of Compass high school students. The Guides suggest using these question stems as conversation starters to gain some more info about how your student engages with the content, and their academic progress.
