Music + PE = Movin' and Groovin'

“It is movement that interests the child in music, and it is by movement that the very tiny child can arrive at understanding music with considerable delicacy.” MM

Music - Listening to music, singing songs, playing instruments, and moving to the rhythm are excellent ways for young children to develop self-awareness. Music can provide them with a creative outlet to express their feelings and emotions, while allowing them to explore their identity and make sense of their experiences.

PE - Physical activity is an outlet for releasing tension and anxiety, and facilitates emotional stability and resilience. PE can be a major force in helping children socialize with others successfully and provides opportunities to learn positive people skills.
